Based: Gospel Oak, London (2 mins from the Overground station)

Salary: £24,000 to £25,000

Start date: November 2020

About the Shadow Robot Company:

Our Company is a growing employee-owned, international and world-leading robotics organisation and we are expanding our London-based office team.

  • Our current team of 45 are based in London, Wales, Bristol, Madrid, Poland, Hungary and Colombia. There are currently 15 different nationalities represented too.

About Your Role as Logistics and Travel Co-ordinator:

  • Take care of all UK and international shipping from London, inbound and outbound
  • Accurately check all customs and shipping costs
  • Resolve any shipping issues quickly and with optimal communication with all parties involved
  • Work closely with the events coordinator, sales coordinator, engineers, production team as well as clients in relation to all shopping and logistics
  • Take care of all hotel, train and flight bookings for all team members (NB. I need to ask Rosie as I think Rich likes her to book his travel)
  • Covering reception duties, including answering incoming calls and dealing with couriers as part of the Finance and Admin team


About Your Background and Current Skills:

  • Prior logistics and global shipping experience
  • Desire to improve skills in line with post-Brexit shipping requirements
  • Proficiency in Google Suite (preferred) 
  • Detail-oriented and the ability to prioritise effectively
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Exceptional organisation skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Accurate data entry skills
  • Thrives in a small growing team where learning and growing is central to being a team member striving to create and develop a world-class company
