Salary: €36,000 – €39,000 Gross / year

About Us and the new Production Manager role:
The Shadow Robot Company is one of the world’s leading robotics technology companies. We’re an international company where our Spanish based team work together to assemble our industry-leading Robot Dexterous Hands which organisations such as Hitachi, NASA and Siemens have used.
We are expanding our Madrid based team to include an experienced Production Manager with an engineering background, and an understanding of small-batch manufacturing, design for manufacturing, outsourcing, quality assurance, quality control, project management.
You’d be joining an employee-owned company which hosts employees of 14 different nationalities creating a multicultural way of working with strong ethical pillars. Your small team of assembly technicians will be responsible for product assembly and repair, working towards consistent quality and excellence in both their individual and team performance. Your background and skills within engineering will certainly help you to thrive in leading and managing the team in an environment with increasing production/assembly requirements and constant change year-on-year.
To be our new Production Manager, we’re looking for the following in your experience and skills:
- Work experience and knowledge in small-batch manufacturing, design for manufacturing, manufacturing scale-up and outsourcing will be valued.
- Hands-on team management experience – you love leading a small, growing team.
- Knowledge of manufacturing techniques.
- If you have experience or knowledge of project management, this is a bonus but not essential.
- Knowledge of quality assurance and quality control are also needed.
- English – spoken and written level (C1).
- A ‘can-do’ attitude.
- A positive team player.
Please note this role will initially be based from home and will move back to be an office-based role in Madrid 28014 once able. You would also be expected to travel and work with your London based colleagues regularly.
