Your Impact as our new Robotics Design Electronics Engineer:

You’ll be a vital part of our R&D team, focusing on the design, development, and testing of complex electronic systems for our robotic platforms.

You’ll work on PCB design, embedded systems, sensor integration, and power management.

You’ll collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers, optimize electronic designs, and ensure robust testing.

Your expertise will contribute to the advancement of our dexterous hand products and teleoperation systems.

You’ll have the autonomy to drive projects forward, working in a team that reports directly to senior management.

To be successful in this role, we’d love to hear from you if you have the following experience and personality:

Extensive experience in electronics and PCB design and CAD (Altium preferred).

A track record of troubleshooting and solving engineering problems that arise during the design, manufacturing, or testing phases.

Test and measurement experience with DMMs, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and other lab equipment.

Proficiency in sensor integration and signal processing.

Experience working with reasonably high speed digital electronics.

Excellent documentation skills.

Nice to haves:

Surface mount PCB assembly and rework.

Experience with actuator control systems.

Basic Python or C programming skills.

Strong experience with embedded systems development.

Experience in power management and distribution for electronic systems.

Design/specification/execution of electronic hardware testing (i.e. life testing, robustness testing).

Knowledge of engineering drawings/tolerances/engineering specifications.

Experience with MCAD and ECAD/MCAD integration .

Job title: Robotics Design Electronics Engineer

Based: 100% based in Gospel Oak, London (office is 2 mins stroll from the overground station)

Salary range: £50,000 to £55,000 (depending on your experience)

Start date: ASAP

Package includes 28 days holidays + bank holidays

This position requires a minimum of four years of commercial experience and as such is unsuitable for recent graduates.
