RAMCIP – Developing a service robot to support MCI patients at home
RAMCIP looks at researching and developing real robotic solutions for assistive robotics for the elderly and those suffering from Mild Cognitive Impairments and dementia. Within the RAMCIP project, we develop the next generation of hardware with a new type of robot Hand that is optimised to solve the project’s challenges. The work ties into RAMCIP’s vision of providing safe, proactive and discreet assistance in a series of significant aspects of the user’s daily life, ranging from food preparation, eating and dressing activities to managing the home and keeping it safe, both for the user and other persons, e.g. grandchildren.
